DreamHost explains their month from hell, which in turn explains the various outages that have been plaguing my sites recently (and which inspired the creation of this blog to notify my readers of them). They’re not out of the woods yet, it seems, but this is an excellent account of what’s been happening, and makes me feel better. As you may have guessed, I’m big on granularity and excessive detail; I’d have liked this sooner, but sometimes it takes a while to assemble the big picture.
